Zachary Monson

Zac Monson has been with the Music Dept at Stingray Music since 2009. He was first brought on to the Karaoke team, where he spent his days matching the bouncing ball to the words. Yes that’s a job. For over a decade however, he has overseen the growth and evolution of the Dance & Electronic music programming (Dance Clubbin’, Eclectic Electronic, The Chill Lounge, among others). Zac is also the award-winning host of Stingray PausePlay, where he has had the pleasure to talk about life and music with artists like Billie Eilish, Cypress Hill, Dua Lipa, Red Hot Chili Peppers, twenty øne piløts, Lil Nas X, and more. Outside his 9-5, he passionately works with many rising artists. Lending an ear, and a hand, anywhere he can to help in the creation of great music. Zac is the chairman of the Dance Recording of the Year at the JUNO Awards, and sits on the board of Canada’s Music Incubator.
