Pierre-Jean Lavigne


Pierre-Jean has been DJing and hosting various radio shows and podcasts since 1999. His involvement in the music scene has not only enabled him to play various at festivals but also to open for many of his favorite acts.

Radio and writing also brought him to sit on talent juries of varying festivals (Montreal Jazz Fest, Mundial, …) as well as being included in multiple music publications.

He has always believed that music’s capability of constantly surprising and touching people on different emotional levels is one of the best ways of bringing them together. For that reason, sincerity in playing is the quality he values most when searching for new music.
